Gear Rental
Greek Peak:
Greek peak provides rental equipment for skiers and snowboards alike at an affordable cost. The technicians at the mountain will assess the skier's height, weight, and ability level and provide equipment sized accordingly.
The mountain offers skis, ski boots, poles, snowboards, snowboard boots, helmets, and goggles. All other equipment and snow gear must be purchased separately. No advance reservation of equipment is required before heading to the mountain.
More details on Greek Peak's rental gear can be found HERE.
Purchasing Gear
Used Gear:
If you have a season's pass or you plan on skiing frequently, purchasing used equipment may be a good option. Many websites sell used skis, snowboards, and boots in good condition at heavily discounted prices. Be sure to contact the seller first and check over the skis before buying them to ensure no significant damage exists. It is always better to buy used skis from a ski shop which can verify the condition of the bases, bindings, and top sheets with a numerical rating system before purchasing. The same is true for snowboards. The following is a list of online equipment resources.
SidelineSwap
Equipment often sold by ski shops and resort demo centers. Offers good buyer protection.
Powder7
All equipment is verified by the website and rated rigorously on a 10 point scale.
Geartrade
Wide range of used outdoor gear, quality is reviewed by website.
